PlayTube: Video & Music Player is a local media player. The current release lists and plays media files already stored on your device and does not provide online video content.
Local Media Security
Your video and audio files remain on your device. They are accessed only after you grant the required Android media permission, solely so the App can list and play them. The App does not upload your local media files to our servers. Local playlists and playback settings are stored in the App's local database on your device.
Accounts and Online Content
The current release has no user account, sign-in, or registration. It does not access, request, download, stream, extract, or play content from YouTube or another online content service, and it does not use YouTube API Services during operation.
Technical and Third-Party Data
Advertising, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, app updates, and Google Play Billing may process limited technical information such as device model, operating-system version, app version, advertising identifier, IP address, crash diagnostics, and general app activity. These services process information according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell this data.
Your Control
You can revoke media and notification permissions in Android settings. You can delete local playlists, preferences, and playback history by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
