These Terms of Service apply to PlayTube: Video & Music Player ("PlayTube" or the "App"), operated by XS SOFTWARE ("we", "us", or "our"). Installing or using PlayTube means that you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, you should stop using the App.
PlayTube is a player for video files stored on your device. You choose which files the App can access through device permissions and available file selection controls.
The App lets you browse, play, and organise supported video files stored on your device. You retain your rights in your files and are responsible for having permission to use them. Playback depends on file format, file condition, device capabilities, and the permissions you grant. Where available, floating playback and playback controls apply to your local videos.
Our Privacy Policy explains access to local video files, storage of App preferences and playback history, and information processed for advertising, analytics, diagnostics, and purchases.
Advertisements may appear in the App. If optional paid features or subscriptions are offered, review the price and purchase conditions shown before confirming payment. Google Play handles payment processing; its applicable billing and refund rules govern those transactions.

The App is owned by or licensed to XS SOFTWARE, excluding your videos and third-party components, which remain the property of their respective owners. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for lawful personal purposes. Using the App does not transfer ownership of any video or grant permission to copy or distribute content belonging to others.
Advertising, analytics, crash reporting, and payment features may be supplied by third parties and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Links or advertisements may take you to services operated by other providers. We do not control their content, availability, or practices.
Features may evolve as we release updates, address security issues, or respond to platform and legal requirements. Some features may be suspended or removed. Compatibility can change with Android and service updates, so an older version of the App may no longer support every feature.
Keep your device secure and grant permissions only for features you wish to use. Rooting or other operating-system modifications may affect security and compatibility. Local video playback does not require an internet connection; advertising, purchases, and other supporting services may use one. You are responsible for any mobile data or roaming charges. Device limitations, damaged files, or loss of battery power may interrupt playback.
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, support for every video format, or compatibility with every device. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, XS SOFTWARE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the App. We are not responsible for loss caused by device failure, damaged files, external applications, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Keep backup copies of videos that are important to you.
You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. We may restrict or discontinue services when necessary for security, compliance with law or app-store policies, or enforcement of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published at this URL with an updated date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
