These Terms of Use govern your use of PlayTube: Video & Music Player (the "App"), provided by XS SOFTWARE ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App and uninstall it from your device.
You may use the App for personal, lawful playback and organization of media files available on your device. The App may allow you to create local playlists, mark files as favorites, share a local file using Android's system sharing interface, and use playback features such as background playback or picture-in-picture.
The App does not provide an account system and does not upload your media files to our servers.
You retain all rights in the media files on your device. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right or permission to possess, play, organize, or share those files. You must not use the App to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or for any unlawful purpose.
We do not review, host, distribute, or claim ownership of your local media files. Sharing a file is performed only when you expressly choose the Share action and select a destination through Android.
The App may request access to video and audio files so it can list and play them. It may also request notification, foreground playback, wake-lock, or optional overlay permissions for playback controls and picture-in-picture functionality. You can deny or revoke permissions in Android settings, although related features may then be unavailable.
Core local playback does not require an Internet connection. Internet access may be used for advertising, consent management, analytics, crash reporting, Firebase services, app updates, and Google Play Billing. These services do not provide online media content through the App and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The free version may display advertisements supplied by third-party advertising providers. Optional purchases or subscriptions may remove advertising or unlock premium features. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's applicable terms, billing rules, and refund policies.

The App, excluding your media files and third-party components, is owned by or licensed to XS SOFTWARE and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App for personal, lawful purposes.
The App may include third-party SDKs or links for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, billing, or app-store functionality. We do not control those services. Your use of them may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the App, maintain security, comply with law, or meet platform requirements. Updates may be distributed through the app store from which you obtained the App.
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every file format or device, or that third-party services will always remain available. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To the extent permitted by law, XS SOFTWARE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the App. We are not responsible for loss of media files caused by device failure, external applications, user actions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may restrict or discontinue the App when necessary to comply with law, platform requirements, security obligations, or these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
